Responsibilities
- Assist with paint and techniques for major modification projects
- Identify colors and color matches as needed
- Basic knowledge of stains, lacquers, clear coats, etc.
- Basic knowledge of chemicals (thinners, catalysts, cleaners, etc.) And safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of paints and spraying equipment
- Knowledge of dry sanding and wet sanding, etc.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
- Cleanliness of shop and surroundings
- Work independently when required
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Your Education: A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not required
- Your Experience: Tech I (0-2 years), Tech II (2-4 years), Tech III (4-6 years), Master Tech (6+ years)
- Your Initiative: Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.
- Your Sense of Responsibility: Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments. Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work. You must have reliable transportation to get to work each day. Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties. Maintain customer-oriented work habits. Assist in major modification work as needed.

Pay
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20 - $35. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.
Schedule
Our 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am. The shift incentive includes a 10% -15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.
