About the role
This position is available for 2nd shift work, Monday through Thursday, from 3pm to 1am. The shift incentive includes a 10% -15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training, and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Fabricating complex high quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for installation in world class business aircraft.
- Performing parts replacements or repairs, basic electrical system installation, and general mechanical applications.
- Modifying, repairing, refurbishing, and fabricating aircraft cabinets.
- Completing daily turnover sheets.
- Maintaining and repairing shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
- Navigating electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Cleaning the shop and surrounding areas.
- Communicating effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Routine walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and standing.
- Repetitive physical motions with arms and hands, emphasizing grasping, feeling, and finger dexterity.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Climbing ladders and stairs.
- Working in small, restricted areas.
- Understanding and implementing regulations and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, Hazmat, etc.
- Working with others in a professional manner.
- Reading and comprehending various documents.
- Planning and organizing procedures and operations.
- Supervising other technicians when required.
- Working independently when required.
Qualifications
- Tech I: 0-2 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field.
- Tech II: 2 - 4 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field.
- Tech III: 4-6 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field.
- Master Tech: 6+ years’ experience in aviation interiors.
Skills
- Ability to perform minor modifications.
- Basic computer skills for navigating electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Good cleanliness and work ethic.
- Effective communication skills (speaking, writing, reading).
- Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
- Compliance with company and safety rules during performance of duties.

- Assistance in major modification work as needed.
