About the role

This position involves fabricating complex high-quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for installation in business aircraft. Tasks include parts replacements or repairs, basic electrical system installations, and general mechanical applications. Modifications, refurbishments, and fabrication of aircraft cabinets are the main functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems.
  • Remove and install cabinets, modify, re-laminate, veneer, or fabricate new cabinets.
  • Ability to perform minor modifications.
  • Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
  • Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Cleanliness of shop and surroundings.
  • Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields.
  • Close supervision and constant check-ins on work performance.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • Follow Federal Aviation Administration guidelines and company safety rules.
  • Customer-oriented work habits.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under specific deadlines and time constraints.

Qualifications

  • Tech I: 0-2 years of experience.
  • Tech II: 2-4 years of experience.
  • Tech III: 4-6 years of experience.
  • Master Tech: 6+ years of experience.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20-$35. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift.

Schedule

This position offers 2nd shift work.
