Interior Cabinet Technician - 1090

About the role

This position is available for Interior Cabinet Technicians at West Star Aviation. We are seeking individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 0-6 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform parts replacements or repairs
• Install basic electrical systems
• Modify, refurbish, and fabricate aircraft cabinets
• Complete daily turnover sheets
• Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
• Cleanliness of shop and surroundings
• Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading)
• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems
• Work independently when required
• Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Interior Management
• Supervise other technicians when required

Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Routine walking, bending, squatting, sitting, climbing ladders, and stairs
• Repetitive physical motions with arms and hands, emphasizing grasping, feeling, and finger dexterity
• Standing for long periods of time
• Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including OSHA, Hazmat, etc.
• Professional work with others
• Read and comprehend various documents
• Plan and organize procedures and operations
• Work in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines and time constraints

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20 - $35. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift.
