Job Description & Requirements Interim Peds/Adolescent Unit Manager StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $160000.00 - $170000.00 A Massachusetts medical center is seeking their next Interim Peds/Adolescent Unit Manager! The Position An Interim Peds/Adolescent Unit Manager is needed to provide interim leadership for a 45-bed pediatric/adolescent unit with an average daily census of approximately 24, caring for patients from newborns through age 22 across medical, surgical, oncology, and behavioral health populations. Lead day-to-day operations for a multidisciplinary team of RNs, PCTs, unit coordinators, and Child Life staff, supporting staffing, patient flow, clinical quality, and safe patient-centered care. The Interim Manager must build trust and strong relationships across the team through a visible, approachable leadership presence and a supportive coaching style that encourages engagement, accountability, and professional growth. Partner with nursing, medical, and interdisciplinary leaders to address operational needs, strengthen communication, and create a collaborative environment for staff and patients. Must bring strong pediatric nursing expertise and hands-on leadership to stabilize the unit, support the team through transition, and ensure consistent, high-quality care across a complex patient population.Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree is required. Active RN license is required. Compensation Details Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
