Interim Clinical Coordinator - Ultrasonography (Temp, FT)

About the role

Mount Aloysius College invites applications for a temporary, full-time Interim Clinical Coordinator in the Ultrasonography Department, beginning October 5, 2026 and ending in mid-February 2027. The position combines primary coordinator duties with teaching responsibilities and requires regular on-campus presence to engage with students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical education sites and ensure the effectiveness of clinical experiences
• Provide clinical instruction and evaluate students and clinical affiliates
• Document evaluation and progression of clinical performance leading to competence
• Teach labs and introductory theory courses as needed
• Engage with students both inside and outside the classroom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical imaging field
• Ultrasound credentials in Abdominal, Breast, and OB/GYN
• Credentialing in Adult Echocardiography is a plus
• Two years of full-time sonography experience
• Teaching experience in the clinical setting, especially in ultrasound, is preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality

This is a temporary position reporting to the Ultrasonasonography Department Chairperson. The role is not eligible for benefits or paid holidays, and visa sponsorship is not budgeted. All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application.
