About the role

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing clinical operations within the sonography department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining high patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical activities including scheduling, staffing, and coordination of clinical services.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of clinical activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide guidance and support to clinical staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Experience with electronic health record systems.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
