About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Intensive In-Home (IIH) Team Lead to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will be a Provisionally Licensed or Fully Licensed Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor with experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. This role provides community-based clinical support, including assessments, therapy, care coordination, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and family-focused services. The Team Lead will play a key role in helping clients achieve stability and positive outcomes while ensuring compliance with clinical and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and ongoing client reassessments.
  • Provide individual, family, and therapeutic interventions in home and community settings.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Plans and treatment goals.
  • Coordinate care with schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and support systems.
  • Facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings.
  • Provide psychoeducation, skill-building, and behavioral health support.
  • Assist with crisis intervention, stabilization, and safety planning.
  • Complete clinical documentation, referrals, discharge planning, and required reports.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with Medicaid, state, and agency requirements.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and required trainings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Active North Carolina behavioral health license or eligibility, including:
    • LCSWA
    • LCSW
    • LCMHC-A
    • LCMHC
    • Other qualifying NC-recognized provisional or independent licenses
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with mental health and/or substance abuse populations.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in community-based environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience providing Intensive In-Home (IIH) services.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid behavioral health requirements.
  • Strong crisis management and family engagement skills.
