Job Responsibilities
- Aid in brand protection and anti-piracy enforcement, and monitor and verify anti-counterfeiting measures.
- Maintain and administer various brand enforcement strategies, including drafting letters and takedown notices from templates.
- Manage and administer domestic and international customs clearance requests, liaising with account executives, agents, and licensees.
- Support the Business & Legal Affairs team and liaise with outside legal counsel in supporting trademark opposition and cancellation actions, infringement actions, and other enforcement activities.
- Take ownership of intellectual property processes, manage timelines, and ensure deadlines are met in a dynamic global environment.
Qualifications
- An associate degree or paralegal certificate, or other relevant certification, required, with a strong interest in intellectual property.
- Experience in the Licensing or Intellectual Property field is advantageous.
- Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple complex files and provide excellent service to internal and global clients.
- Ability to work under changing priorities, timelines, and processes, and to prioritize workload and solve problems.
- Extensive computer and database experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
