About the role
Cozen O’Connor is seeking an attorney with a strong technical background in chemistry to join the firm’s IP Department in our Boca Raton, DC, Dallas, Miami, New York, or Philadelphia office. Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience. Prior experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation is a plus. Preference will also be given to candidates having graduate-level training in chemistry. Depending on the candidate’s experience and preference, this position could be wholly litigation-focused, or could be a mixture of litigation and prosecution-related work.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Hatch-Waxman litigation
- Conduct prosecution-related work
- Provide legal advice and support to clients
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm
Requirements
- A license in good standing in the resident state is required
- Prior experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation is a plus
- Graduate-level training in chemistry is preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience
- Strong technical background in chemistry

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $210,000 - $250,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
