About the role

This is a paraprofessional position where the teacher assistant supports the classroom teacher in a variety of tasks after training. Responsibilities include assisting with emergency plans, health-related plans and services, and carrying out instructional procedures.

The role operates under the direct supervision of the teacher, building administrator, and the appropriate Special Education Department administrator.
