Integrator Quality Manager
About the role
The Commissioning Team at Fluidstack is responsible for ensuring that every unit delivered to a Fluidstack site meets spec, commissioning requirements, and schedule. They oversee the quality standards across the skid and module fabrication ecosystem, manage third-party quality reps, and lead root-cause investigations on field-discovered defects.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality standards across the skid and module fabrication ecosystem, making sure every unit delivered to a Fluidstack site meets spec, commissioning requirements, and schedule.
- Hire, direct, and performance-manage a distributed team of third-party quality reps embedded at integrator fabrication facilities, and serve as the escalation point for quality holds and integrator disputes.
- Author and own Fluidstack's Integrator Quality Manual and the Inspection and Test Plans for every skid and module type, including hold points and FAT procedures.
- Own CxAlloy as the system of record: define templates, workflows, and taxonomy, audit for genuine compliance, and publish integrator scorecards on completion rates, defect trends, and FAT results.
- Direct reps to witness and document all Factory Acceptance Testing, coordinate FAT scope with commissioning to eliminate gaps, and confirm every skid ships with a complete documentation package.
- Qualify new integrator partners through facility assessments and first-article inspections, and maintain qualification status and risk ratings across all active integrators.
- Enforce drawing version control and submittal workflows in Autodesk Construction Cloud, and inspect fabricated assemblies against BIM geometry during FAT.
- Lead root-cause investigations on field-discovered defects traced to fabrication, and run corrective and preventive actions through Procore to closure.
- Run quarterly business reviews with top integrators and travel up to 60% to their facilities and Fluidstack sites.
Requirements
You've managed construction quality, commissioning, or fabrication QA on data centers or large-scale MEP/industrial projects. You've managed third-party or contract quality staff across multiple sites: setting priorities, reviewing work, holding people accountable. You've run CxAlloy hands-on as a commissioning and quality platform: configuring checklists and issue workflows, auditing compliance, using the data to hold teams accountable. You know MEP systems as they relate to skid fabrication: switchgear, PDUs, cooling, generators, UPS, structural steel. You present technical findings clearly to project teams and to non-technical leadership.
