Intake Entitlement Specialist

About the role

RiseWell Community Services is looking to hire a Full-Time Intake Entitlement Specialist to join the Residential Team. The role involves the coordination and maintenance of all assigned entitlement/benefit cases as well as assigned intakes. You will also participate in outreach and in-reach efforts of the Residential Services Intake Department for both Licensed and Non-Licensed Housing. Additionally, you will provide back-up for individual staff in completing intakes as needed and assist in coordinating the intake and admission process to ensure compliance, efficiency, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain all assigned entitlement/benefit cases
• Participate in outreach and in-reach efforts for both Licensed and Non-Licensed Housing
• Provide back-up for individual staff in completing intakes as needed
• Aid in coordinating the intake and admission process to ensure compliance, efficiency, and customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1-year experience equivalent in related field in Human Services (2-years preferred)
• Experience working with the homeless population, formerly homeless, those diagnosed with severe mental illness and/or substance use disorder is recommended
• Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health, clean and valid NYS Driver’s License required
