Intake Caseworker
Experienced and aspiring human service professionals are encouraged to consider a full‑time Intake Caseworker position with Liberty Healthcare and the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program. As an Intake Caseworker you will protect vulnerable individuals by fielding reports of potential abuse, neglect, abandonment, and exploitation of older adults and adults living with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Field inbound calls and electronic reports.
- Interview individuals by phone and ask clarifying questions.
- Take detailed notes and enter information into a database.
- Categorize and prioritize reports of need.
- Triaging cases for follow‑up and investigation.
Schedule
This is a fully remote position for residents of Pennsylvania. Work hours are 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekend day on call each month.
Pay
$38,000 per year.

Qualifications
- Outstanding active listening, verbal communication, and writing skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Pennsylvania residency.
- Relevant experience such as social worker or case manager, criminal justice or law enforcement, 911 operator or EMS dispatcher, medical receptionist or healthcare intake worker.
