About the role

The successful candidate will assist with securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims. They will work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims
  • Work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel
  • Enforce policyholders' rights to coverage under various types of commercial insurance policies
  • Handle and manage a busy and varied caseload involving large policyholder cases

Requirements

  • At least four years of experience in insurance coverage, preferably at another AmLaw 200 firm or policyholder boutique
  • Experience working with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and coverage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice in California
  • J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
  • Passing grade on the California Bar Exam

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$190,000 annually
