About the role
The successful candidate will provide legal representation to policyholders in insurance coverage disputes, working closely with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel to secure coverage for various third-party liability claims.
Responsibilities
- Assist in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims
- Work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel
- Represent policyholders in insurance coverage disputes
- Handle a diverse caseload involving various types of commercial insurance policies
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in insurance coverage
- Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or policyholder boutique
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state
- Passionate about insurance recovery and policyholder rights
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective negotiation and advocacy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
