Information Providers, Inc. is seeking a part-time 1099 Insurance Property Inspector in Blair County, PA, who thrives in an independent, field-based schedule. The role offers flexible weekday hours, 7 AM-4 PM, 8 AM-5 PM, or 9 AM-5 PM, dispatching daily from home with no central office reporting required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of homes and businesses
- Capture detailed photographs and document key features
- Assess conditions, identify potential hazards or concerns
- Gather accurate data for underwriting decisions
- Compile thorough, high-quality underwriting survey reports
Requirements
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and web-based applications
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for inspections
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your schedule
- Close attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Experience in property inspection preferred
- Knowledge of underwriting principles beneficial
