About the role
We are seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and motivated to grow within a professional insurance organization. This role supports clients through renewals, policy changes, service requests, and proactive coverage reviews, while also identifying cross-sell opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support clients through renewals, policy changes, service requests, and proactive coverage reviews
- Identify and support cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the client base
- Manage policy changes, endorsements, and documentation
- Consult with clients to explain coverage options and next steps clearly
- Maintain organized and compliant client records
- Willingness to obtain insurance licensing with agency support
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a calm, professional demeanor
- An analytical mindset with the ability to understand coverage needs
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfort supporting sales conversations and cross-selling when appropriate
Qualifications
- Prior insurance experience is a bonus
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
