Customer Service Rep- Insurance

About the role

The George Mauricio Agency is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in creating an exceptional customer experience while supporting the agency's sales and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Absorb and answer policy service requests and general questions from clients.
• Schedule appointments for agents and producers.
• Process payments and assist with billing inquiries.
• Scan, upload, and organize client documents.
• Maintain accurate customer records in agency systems.
• Follow up with clients regarding requested documentation.
• Assist with quoting and policy processing as experience and licensing permit.
• Support agency marketing initiatives and community events.
• Maintain an organized reception area and assist with general office operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, retail, or office experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• A California Property & Casualty license is a plus but not required.
