About the role
The George Mauricio Agency is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in creating an exceptional customer experience while supporting the agency's sales and service teams.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Absorb and answer policy service requests and general questions from clients.
- Schedule appointments for agents and producers.
- Process payments and assist with billing inquiries.
- Scan, upload, and organize client documents.
- Maintain accurate customer records in agency systems.
- Follow up with clients regarding requested documentation.
- Assist with quoting and policy processing as experience and licensing permit.
- Support agency marketing initiatives and community events.
- Maintain an organized reception area and assist with general office operations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, retail, or office experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
- A California Property & Casualty license is a plus but not required.
