We are seeking talented Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineers at all experience levels, from early-career professionals to principal engineers. Our I&C Engineer career path offers multiple options, including mid-level, senior, and principal roles where you can lead and mentor others. Responsibilities

As an I&C Engineer, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate with diverse engineering groups, and ensure project success. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations, and performing analyses
  • Attending project meetings, conducting walkdowns, and mentoring junior employees
  • Create Impactful Engineering Deliverables: Produce precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations
  • Set the Standard: Develop engineering documents that surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements while adhering to excellence-driven processes
  • Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques
  • Drive Quality & Precision: Deliver exceptional engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs
  • Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust through clear communication, professional engagement, and superior engineering results
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well-rounded designs
  • Be Active in the Field: Engage directly with client personnel, perform plant walkdowns, and ensure structures, systems, and components meet the highest engineering standards

Requirements

This position covers a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for our mid-level role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a similar Engineering discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with the design of electrical systems
  • Experience in one of the following industries is highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), energy, or government (DOE) projects
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and collaborate effectively in teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Some roles may require U.S. citizenship due to federal contract requirements. Senior Engineers typically have 7+ years of post-graduate experience, while Principal Engineers typically have 10+ years. If you have less than 3 years of experience, your information may be transferred to our early talent team.

Pay

Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 – USD $185,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states.
