Responsibilities

• Provide career technical training instruction to students in accordance with approved curricula
• Provide students with basic direction, in compliance with government and management directives
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits
• Coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines; recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment
• Participate in student assessment panels
• Perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Two (2) years experience; at least 1 of which shall be in the provision of a long-term facility
• Must complete a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
