CNA Instructor

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares lesson plans
• Administers and corrects tests
• Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources
• Recommends curricula changes and supplemental materials
• Collaborates with independent living advisors, counselors, and other staff
• Records and forwards daily attendance to Student Records
• Maintains student personnel folders
• Models appropriate behaviors
• Mentors students
• Monitors both positive and negative behaviors through interventions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Experience in educational settings preferred
