About the role

Management & Training Corporation operates the Earle C Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY, providing students with excellent opportunities supporting their health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Cookordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

Requirements

• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state of employment by a professional trade organization.
• Specific requirements as required in designated vocational training.
• RN with minimum 2 years experience; at least 1 of which shall be in the provision of a long-term facility.
• Instructor must complete a course in teaching adults or shall have experience teaching adults.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
