Instructor – 92F – Petroleum Supply Specialist
About the role
Chitra is seeking an experienced 92F – Petroleum Supply Specialist Instructor to support training operations for the U.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia. The 92F Instructor will provide classroom, blended-learning, hands-on practical exercise, and examination support for Quartermaster School courses, training, observing, monitoring, and evaluating students in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction (POIs), Course Management Plans (CMPs), Army doctrine, and applicable TRADOC, USACASCOM, and Quartermaster School requirements. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a 92F Petroleum Supply Specialist, previous instructional or observer/controller experience, and the ability to effectively train Soldiers in both classroom and field environments. This position offers the opportunity to apply Army petroleum supply and logistics expertise to train the next generation of Quartermaster professionals. Work is performed in person at Fort Lee, Virginia, including the surrounding Appomattox Water Authority and North Range training areas, with possible remote contractor sites as workload permits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, blended-learning, and hands-on instruction for assigned Quartermaster School courses.
- Train, observe, monitor, and evaluate students during classroom instruction, practical exercises, and hands-on examinations.
- Conduct instruction in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction, Course Management Plans, Army doctrine, and applicable training requirements.
- Employ blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) as part of course delivery.
- Operate and utilize required instructional technology, military training equipment, and course materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide appropriate instructional feedback.
- Maintain a professional and effective learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with Government personnel, fellow instructors, students, and other training personnel.
- Support training conducted in classrooms, shops, field-training sites, ranges, and other designated training environments.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of experience in MOS 92F – Petroleum Supply Specialist (Active and Reserve Component service credited per contract).
- Qualified and experienced in the duties and responsibilities associated with MOS 92F.
- Prior experience as an instructor or observer/controller (at least 1 year).
- Experience employing or ability to effectively utilize blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction.
- Ability to provide documentation verifying required qualifications, certifications, and training prior to beginning work.
- Ability to complete the required Range Safety Course and become range-certified at Fort Lee within 60 calendar days after beginning work.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Physical and environmental capabilities:
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Conduct and monitor classroom and hands-on training activities.
- Climb into and out of military equipment as required for training.
- Walk and perform instructional duties on rough or rocky terrain.
- Work outdoors for extended periods, including during inclement weather.
- Perform duties in temperatures ranging from approximately 15°F to 110°F.
- Work in classrooms, shops, field-training sites, ranges, and other designated training environments.
Skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Pay
$55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
