Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts (SME) to execute the translation of SME course maps to learning management system (LMS) course sites.
  • Develops and designs learning aids including, but not limited to, instructional guides and web simulations to assist in the transfer of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Identifies areas for improvement through Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Ensures alignment of new and updated courses and course materials with federal and state course quality / accessibility requirements.
  • Conducts needs assessments, designs and develops appropriate classroom and technology-based training to meet organization and individual needs.
  • Provides analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, educational policies, or courseware standards.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training materials to ensure objectives are accomplished.
  • Facilitates training classes or presents training to faculty, staff, and students.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
  • Formal training in educational pedagogy and educational technology implementation across myriad course delivery modalities (preferred).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise building with Cidi Lab’s DesignPlus and within Instructure’s Canvas Learning Management System (preferred).

Schedule

Normal work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Night and weekend work may be required at high-volume periods in the academic year. Some travel may be required for professional development and conference attendance.
