$18.11 - $20.65 per hour (CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule IA I)
Schedule
- 9 months per year (206 days / 18A calendar)
- 5 days per week, Monday – Friday
- 6-hour work day: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
Provide instructional support as an Instructional Assistant I / II.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with groups of children
- High School Diploma or equivalent (must be attached to application)
- One of the following must also be attached to pre-qualify:
- [A] Passing score from San Juan Unified School District’s Proficiency Exam (April 2005 or later; no other district’s exam accepted)
- [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- In some programs, possession of—or willingness and ability to obtain—a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire
- Foreign degrees/transcripts must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency
