• 9 months/year (Elementary Instructional Assistant - Calendar 18A)
• 206 days/year
• 5 days/week, Monday - Friday
• 6 hours/day, 7:45 AM - 2:15 PM

Instructional Assistant I / II duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant experience working with groups of children (listed on application)
• For Title I sites, must pre-qualify by attaching one of the following:
  • [A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam (April 2005 or later; no other district’s exam accepted)
  • [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
  • [C] Official transcripts showing completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
  • [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). Foreign degrees/transcripts must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
• In some programs: Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain, a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license
