About the role

Renuity is on a mission to revolutionize home improvement, making it faster, easier, and stress-free to upgrade your home inside and out. We’re looking for a Installation Training Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and directing the internal development and skill sets of production personnel, as well as supervising the installation of showers and walk-in baths from beginning to end.

  • Oversee daily training workflow and ensure implementation and adherence to safety procedures
  • Train and evaluate production personnel, reporting evaluations to the Install Manager
  • Inspect teams for proper tools and provide instruction on proper usage
  • Work with the Installation Manager on potential re-training needs of installers
  • Oversee in-house training sessions for production personnel
  • Manage, arrange, and document all required training for production personnel
  • Collaborate with Install Managers and the Service Manager regarding instruction and training planning

In relation to the installation aspect, you will:

  • Review project plans, drawings, and job surveys to ensure that the project is built according to design
  • Check job order to ensure having required materials to complete the installation
  • Analyze job sites prior to beginning an installation to make sure a quality installation can be achieved
  • Work with crew members to complete installation projects within established industry, manufacturer, and Company standards
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in home improvement construction projects
  • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Outgoing and energetic personality
  • Knowledge of proper use of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies used in home improvement construction work
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Some knowledge of first aid
  • Understanding of the construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; however, trade and training experience can be substituted for having a degree
  • 3+ years of management/training experience
  • 7+ years of technical and trade experience

  • Excellent troubleshooting and time management abilities
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Stress tolerance and ability to demonstrate patience with frustrated customers
  • Ability to present information and speak effectively before managers, customers, and employees of the company

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this job include:

  • Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  • Ability to work in various positions and environments, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment weighing approximately 75+ pounds on a frequent basis

Benefits

Base Wage: $35-$40/hr
