About the Role
The Wasserstrom Company, established in 1902 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is the nation's leading Food Service Distributor. As an Installation Manager, you will provide quality installation service that exceeds customer expectations while maintaining company profitability. This role involves creating innovative business practices, managing labor and expenses, and addressing customer needs. You will oversee our parcel truck fleet and a warehouse, with additional tasks as required.
Responsibilities
- Manage installation of equipment to meet Wasserstrom Companies and customer specifications.
- Act as the Company representative, maintaining a positive attitude to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Oversee field modifications to meet customer and company standards.
- Proactively correct field repairs and develop new methods to prevent recurring issues.
- Build trust and respect with co-workers, management, sales associates, and customers to foster a positive environment.
- Perform financial data analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities and new revenue streams.
- Supervise associates within the Installation Department, parcel truck fleet, and equipment warehouse.
- Plan, assign, and direct team tasks, explaining proper procedures.
- Manage budget, labor, and warehouse costs.
- Provide training and performance feedback to associates.
- Conduct associate check-ins to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 2-year Associate Degree.
- 5 years of relevant installation experience.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook.
- Technical ability to learn and use various software programs.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to formulate recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to ask for and offer help.
