Installation & Operations Manager

Benefits: Paid time offProfit sharingBonus based on performanceFree food & snacks QC Signs & Graphics is seeking an experienced, hands-on Installation & Operations Manager to lead our installation team and oversee day-to-day installation operations. This is a working manager position for someone who can lead by example—planning and scheduling crews, training installers, ensuring jobs are properly prepared, and stepping into the field. The ideal candidate combines strong sign-installation skills with leadership, organization, communication, and a commitment to getting the job done safely and correctly the first time. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily installation schedule, crews, workload, equipment, and resources Review upcoming projects and ensure crews are prepared with the correct signs, materials, tools, equipment, measurements, and instructionsInstall and oversee channel letters, pan signs, monument signs, post-and-panel signs, interior signage, vinyl graphics, and vehicle wraps Perform/oversee basic electrical sign work, including LED connectionsConduct accurate site surveys, measurements, photos, and installation assessments Operate bucket trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, ladders, and related equipmentTrain and cross-train installers and establish ongoing skill-development goalsEnforce company safety, quality, and installation standards Perform final quality checks and ensure installations meet work orders and approved specificationsReduce installation mistakes, reprints, remakes, callbacks, and unnecessary go-backs Coordinate closely with Project Managers and Production to keep projects moving on scheduleMonitor labor efficiency and help keep projects on time and within budgetMaintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and installation areasCommunicate professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and team membersIdentify workflow problems and implement improvements that increase efficiency and accountability Qualifications 3+ years of sign installation experience; leadership/supervisory experience strongly preferredExperience with commercial signage, vinyl graphics and vehicle wrapsBasic electrical/LED signage experienceExperience operating lifts and/or bucket trucksStrong construction and power-tool skillsAbility to read drawings, layouts, measurements, and installation plansStrong scheduling, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead a crew while also working hands-on Excellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityValid driver's license and ability to meet company driving/insurance requirementsAbility to safely lift 75+ lbs. and work from ladders/lifts and at heightsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred: 3M/Avery certification, OSHA training, electrical certification, and experience with 3M, Avery, or Oracal products.
