Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair
- Replace worn or broken door parts
- Install new equipment including doors and springs
- Educate the customer about their options
- Sell services to the customer
- Collect payment from the customer
- Manage inventory in your vehicle
Basic Position Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and technical skills (plus)
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently
- Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Able to work in the heat and cold
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively
- Reliable and able to serve customers following the process
- Knowledge of the garage door industry (preferred but not required)
- Able to use a computer and/or tablet
- Able to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment
