Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Installer: Responsible for installing new/replacement equipment and providing excellent customer service to residential and commercial heating and air conditioning customers. Interpret construction drawings, schematics, and cut sheets in the field. Work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the HVAC trade.
- Lead Installer: Prepare, test, and start-up new HVAC equipment. Interface with customers in their homes and places of work, maintaining an acceptable appearance and manners. Teach installation assistants to work independently for maximum efficiency. Ensure clients are 100% satisfied with the work.
- Lead Installer: Report to and follow direction from the HVAC Project manager. Follow all established company policies and procedures.
- Install Helper: Assist Lead Installer in installing new/replacement equipment and providing excellent customer service. Assist in learning various HVAC trade tasks: Residential Furnace, Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, Commercial Rooftop Ductwork, Condensate Drains, Venting, Refrigerant Piping, Gas Piping & Insulation. Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls, and programming. Other job/field related tasks as required.
- Install Helper: Report to and take direction from the Lead Installer. Follow all established company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License

- Installation Helper: HVAC Experience
- Lead Installer: HVAC Experience, HVAC Knowledge, Customer Service, Customer Service
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
- Heavy lifting required (50-75 pounds), ladder work, and tight space work required from time to time
- Ability to pick up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
- Operate handheld power tools
- Work both indoors and outdoors
- Exposure to very hot or very cold temperatures
- Exposure to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
- Exposure to sharp tools and electricity that could potentially produce cuts or burns
- Exposure to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions
- Exposure to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
- Exposure to exposed contaminants
- Exposure to cramped workplaces, such as crawl spaces under floors
