Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Installer:
- Install new/replacement equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to residential and commercial customers
- Interpret construction drawings, schematics, and cut sheets in the field
- Work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the HVAC trade
- Prepare, test, and start-up new HVAC equipment
- Interface with customers in their homes and places of work
- Train installation assistants/helpers
- Ensure clients are 100% satisfied with the work
- Work safely and maintain a neat workspace
- Report to and follow direction from the HVAC Project Manager
- Installation Helper:
- Assist Lead Installer in installing new/replacement equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to residential and commercial customers
- Assist Lead Installer while learning to work on various HVAC projects
- Interface with customers in their homes and places of work
- Report to and follow direction from the Lead Installer
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
Skills
- Installation Helper: HVAC Experience, HVAC Knowledge, Customer Service, Familiarity with Furnaces, Strong Work Ethic
- Lead Installer: HVAC Experience, HVAC Knowledge, Customer Service, Familiarity with Furnaces, Strong Work Ethic, Experience: Minimum of 2 years, Experience: None required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
- Heavy lifting required (50-75 pounds), ladder work, and tight space work required from time to time
- Ability to pick up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
- Operate handheld power tools
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
- Exposure to very hot or very cold temperatures
- Exposure to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
- Exposure to sharp tools and electricity that could potentially produce cuts or burns
- Exposure to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions
- Exposure to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
- Exposure to exposed contaminants
- Exposure to cramped workplaces, such as crawl spaces under floors
