About the role
Weyerhaeuser is hiring a driven Inside Sales Representative to support its Gallatin Distribution facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves working closely with the sales team, learning a proven sales approach, and building strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- CUSTOMER CONTACT - Make outgoing calls to sell Weyerhaeuser's full range of products, including engineered lumber, plywood, OSB, Lumber, and Specialty products. Act as the point of contact for suppliers to assist with customer requests and product information.
- SALES GROWTH - Grow sales to independent dealers, national accounts, specialty retailers, and remanufacturers. Interact frequently with dealer personnel, including buyers, sellers, and sales managers. Execute promotions and special offers to capture sales. Facilitate market pull-through activities.
- TEAM COORDINATION - Coordinate with Weyerhaeuser Dealer Sales Representatives to develop and implement effective customer strategies, ensure follow-up on sales opportunities, and resolve sales and service issues. Work with Customer Service Representatives, Inventory Specialists, and Sales Operations to ensure accurate order processing, consistent product availability, and on-time deliveries. Gather and share market intelligence and provide input regarding product mix, pricing, inventory levels, and demand outlook.
Requirements
- Minimum HS Diploma/GED required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building materials industry
- Strong building materials product knowledge

- Compensation: Salary range of $63,000 - $95,000 based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Eligible for annual merit-increase program and Sales Incentive Program.

Pay
This role is eligible for an annual merit-increase program and a salary range of $63,000 - $95,000 based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
