Responsibilities
- Submit quotations in a professional manner, including a detailed description product and delivery times
- Follow up with internal and external clients on quotes generated to discuss questions and or timelines of order for forecasting purposes internal and external
- Generates revenue by obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Sets up orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
- Maintain necessary prospect and forecast information in CRM
- Interact with customers and team via phone and email.
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
- Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements.
- Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
- Strong organizational, problem solving skills and attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
- Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
Requirements or Required Skills/Abilities
- 3-5 years' experience in sales, sales support, and/or customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Have a technical understanding of Enterprise Datacenter, Networking and Client Device Technologies
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience at a VAR and/or Technology Company is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM/Database tools is a plus
