Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding HVAC equipment, parts, accessories, and system solutions.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for HVAC products and services.
- Process customer orders and ensure order accuracy from entry through fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, facility managers, distributors, and end users.
- Identify sales opportunities and proactively recommend products and solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and sales initiatives.
- Cook with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing, lead times, technical information, and product availability.
- Track and follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
- Provide technical product support and basic HVAC application guidance to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities within CRM systems.
- Resolve customer concerns, order issues, and product-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay informed on HVAC industry trends, new products, regulations, and market developments.
- Aid in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience in the HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, ventilation, indoor air quality products, and mechanical systems.
- Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accounts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
