Responsibilities
- Accept referral of all telephone calls requesting special, technical or pricing information.
- Conduct follow-up telephone calls on customer inquiries, complaints, etc.; inform the Senior Inside Sales Representative or Branch Manager of any customer complaints.
- Learn and use the computer system to access information, enter orders, credits, back orders etc. to accurately and efficiently move through the sales transaction and creation of purchase orders.
- Learn and understand the movement of product as it moves through the branch as well as the central distribution system for The Granite Group.
- Notify the appropriate personnel at the branch when on-hand inventory counts are discovered incorrectly in the computer system.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year in a wholesale sales-based position.
- Experience in managing customer accounts and developing relationships with account personnel.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to negotiate and solve problems.
Qualifications
- Industry knowledge is a benefit but not necessary.
- Entry level Knowledge of plumbing, heating and industrial supply products.
- Aptitude for sales and ability to learn new sales techniques and activities.
- Excellent time management, presentation and organizational skills.
- Desire to provide excellent customer service.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $20,000 - $30,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
