About the role
The Inside Sales Representative at Steel of West Virginia is responsible for complete account management. Duties include handling customer service functions, such as answering phone calls and emails, accurate and timely order entry, following orders from entry through shipment, assisting customers with product availability, accurate and timely price quotes, troubleshooting, and delivery questions. This position also involves communicating daily with outside sales representatives and working directly with mill departments.
Responsibilities
- Handle all customer service functions including answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner, accurate and timely order entry, following orders from entry through shipment.
- Aid customers with daily needs including product availability, accurate and timely price quotes, troubleshooting, and delivery questions.
- Communicate daily with all outside sales representatives and work directly with all mill departments effectively and professionally.
- Handle strong personalities and difficult customers with professionalism.
- Grasp concepts including freight equalization and various pricing scenarios.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Organizational skills and accuracy are a must.
- Work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily.
Qualifications
- PREFERRED: Customer Service or relevant experience
- 4-Year Degree
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft D365
