Inside Sales Representative
About the role
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, generating sales, managing accounts, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with outside operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Possess strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Show high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and contract growth opportunities
- Manage accounts to support sales goals for revenue, margin, and volume
- Cook up with internal teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
- Track and expedite shipments to meet customer expectations
- Develop strong knowledge of market trends and core products including pipe, tubing, and bar
- Resolve customer issues related to pricing, delivery, quality, and service
Requirements
- 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience, preferably in steel, metals, industrial distribution, or manufacturing
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems

Pay
Competitive base salary plus performance based bonus tied to regional results. Pay Range: $56,000.00 - $84,000.00
