ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies and processes customer orders and responds to customers’ inquiries and questions for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies via e-mail, text, phone, and over the counter.
- Maintains knowledge of HVAC products, offerings, and promotions to ensure customer confidence and continued desire to partner with Havtech Commercial Distribution over our competition.
- Strives to execute sales with high accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve potential customer problems and company adherence to policies.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of an emergency on-call service rotation.
- Assists with warehouse work as needed: cycle counts, shipping & receiving, material stocking, and inventory control.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A unique combination of education, experience, or demonstrated accomplishments is required.
- GED or High School Diploma required. (Combination of bachelor’s degree, two years of inside technical sales or related technical or parts sales experience.)
- HVAC Industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record with inside sales and superior customer service skills, particularly in managing challenging customers and their concerns.
- Strong sales skills with an understanding of a well-developed sales process. Ability to listen, gain trust and find the best solutions for our customers.
- Excellent oral/written communication and a team-player attitude.
- Must be action-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and effectively.
- Must have strong computer skills/competency.
