Inside Sales Representative
About the role
This position involves servicing existing customers, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts. The role requires understanding customer needs and requirements, meeting/exceeding customer expectations, sourcing sales opportunities, communicating with customers, analyzing customer choices and financial capacities, and demonstrating product usage.
Responsibilities
- Understanding customer needs and requirements and providing relevant solutions
- Meeting/exceeding customer expectations
- Sourcing current and new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
- Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate channels for further development and account set-up
- Understanding the off-road industry and competitors
- Communicating with customers via phone, email, fax
- Ensuring proper attention to every customer
- Analyzing the choices and financial capacities of every customer and suggesting suitable products
- Demonstrating the methods of using products and resolving customer queries
- Establishing friendly relations with customers and maintaining ongoing relations with the customers
Requirements
- Strong phone presence and excellent listening skills are a must
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must be able to follow deadlines and work under pressure
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in customer orders/requests
- Able to meet and establish deadlines
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office expertise (emphasis on Excel)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of inside sales experience preferred
- Understanding of suspension is a plus
