About the role
Support CBTS's inside sales team by prospecting, qualifying leads, and initiating client conversations across our portfolio. This is a foundational role designed to build core sales skills and product knowledge in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify inbound and outbound leads through phone, email, and digital channels, ensuring a healthy pipeline for the inside sales team.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs, document requirements, and pass qualified opportunities to senior sales colleagues.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) for all prospect interactions, activities, and pipeline stages.
- Support senior sales professionals with proposal preparation, presentation materials, and client follow-up communications.
- Develop fluency in CBTS's IT services, cloud, networking, and managed services portfolio to clearly articulate value propositions.
- Participate in ongoing training programs, sales enablement sessions, and product certification pathways to accelerate professional development.
- Collaborate with marketing to follow up on campaign leads and provide feedback on lead quality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 0–4 years of relevant experience (new graduates and those with up to 4 years welcome)
- Foundational knowledge of CRM tools, with Salesforce experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Certifications
- Any product certifications, Salesforce Trailhead basics, or relevant vendor fundamentals (AWS, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
Pay
$45,000-55,000 base salary not including commission.
