Inside Sales Representative 2

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative 2 (ISR 2) is a senior individual contributor who handles higher-complexity customer interactions and develops deeper product or customer specialization. They balance customer needs, internal constraints, and business outcomes while serving as informal resources to others. This role requires strong execution, clear communication, and accurate system work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
• Prepare, review, and manage quotes and orders within ERP systems
• Proactively manage open orders to ensure delivery, accuracy, and follow-through
• Communicate clearly and early when issues, changes, or risks arise
• Collaborate closely with sales, vendors, and internal teams
• Handle increased complexity, non-standard requests, or higher-risk situations

Requirements

• A high school diploma is required; college credits are desired; technical/mechanical emphasis preferred.
• 3-7 years of experience in an inside sales support, customer support, order management, or similar role with increasing complexity.
• Strong candidates will have experience managing more complex quotes, orders, customer requirements, and ERP-based workflows in the same or a similar industry.
• Equivalent experience to progression from ISR 1 may be considered.
• Experience in the hygienic/sanitary process equipment industry is preferred.

Pay

$29-$34 per hour (Actual pay will be based on experience, skills and internal equity)

Schedule

Monday-Friday, with limited travel.
