Inside Sales Representative II
About the role
The Inside Sales Representative II position at Arrow Electronics involves managing customer relationships, driving sales, and providing support across various product categories including passive, electromechanical, and connector products. This role requires a strong background in electronics distribution, particularly in passive electronic component sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall account relationships and provide strategic service and support to the assigned customer base.
- Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling.
- Work with internal and external resources to provide customer service, facilitate work, ensure on-time delivery, provide engineering support, and troubleshoot customer problems.
- Function as key liaison between suppliers and customers to build and establish long-term business partnerships for Arrow.
- Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory.
- Sell and drive solutions within the approved account level strategy.
- Support ongoing sales activities for the order to invoice process.
- Own customer interface for backend quality processes, including corrective actions, field quality reports.
- Own and maintain perfect order index (POI) and inventory integrity to minimize write-offs/bill backs.
- Own customer interface for credit and financial information and coordinate all available resources and support functions.
- Set strategy for the quote process, coordinate resources, process customer quotations, validate EOL and item class changes, negotiate pricing, and notify customers of all/any price increases.
Requirements
4-5 years’ experience in electronics distribution; experience in passive electronic component sales strongly preferred. Power supplies, cable assemblies, thermal, connectors, magnetics, capacitors/resistors system savvy, ability to adapt quickly. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel skills (VLookup, Macros, etc.) a plus. The role demands strong communication, negotiating, and organizational skills, along with excellent customer service and sales skills. This position adheres to International Traffic in Arms Regulations and requires eligibility for an export license or being a U.S. Person.

The annual hiring range/hourly rate is $23.58 - $28.82, with actual compensation offer varying based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

$23.58 - $28.82 per hour (base pay only)
Schedule
This position follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and 2 days per week from home.
