About the role

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Inside Sales Representative II for the Southern Ohio market. As a key member of the sales team, you will manage customer relationships, maximize margins, and drive value-added solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall account relationships and provide strategic service and support to the assigned customer base.
  • Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling.
  • Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory.
  • Ensure thorough knowledge and accountability of supply chain engagements.
  • Sell and capture opportunities through synergistic products, reverse logistics, GBC, and ITAD.
  • Sell and drive solutions selling within approved account level strategy.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and make informed sales decisions.
  • Contact and qualify potential customers for sales and excess potential, assigning them to appropriate account buckets.
  • Work with Arrow Advantage teams for customer referrals.
  • Collect excess lists and process them accordingly.
  • Manage account assignments, removals, and database integrity.
  • Organize and follow up on account reviews and action items.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a four-year degree and 5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Must live in the Southern Ohio (Dayton) area.
  • Tenacious, self-starter, dedicated, goal-oriented sales and cold calling/prospecting experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills if no industry experience.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Lives in Southern Ohio (Dayton).

Skills

  • Strategic thinking and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain engagements and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to make informed sales decisions.
  • Excel proficiency.

Pay

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $26.10 - $31.90. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Schedule

This position will be remote with expectations to attend general sales training in Dayton on Mondays weekly.
