About the Role
Join our team as an Inside Sales Insurance Agent with paid training and coverage for your Personal Lines Insurance License. If you thrive in outbound sales and want to grow in the insurance industry, this is your opportunity.
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Paid Training (6 months): Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
After training: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM, 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day
Responsibilities
Insurance Sales
- Sell auto insurance, homeowners insurance, and all other insurance products and services to AAA members via phone and online, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing members to promote insurance products.
- Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer’s underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data.
- Provide members with personalized coverage options and premium quotes.
- Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner.
- Participate in sales programs and respond promptly to referrals.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Develop general knowledge of Life Insurance, working towards making referrals to licensed agents.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Develop familiarity with various insurance carrier products, services, technology, and processes.
- Learn and follow carrier-specific underwriting and quoting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies for quoting, binding coverage, and handling payments.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Quality Assurance to reduce risks and ensure accuracy.
- Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority.
- Stay current on insurance regulations and best practices.
Member Service
- Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients.
- Service new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria, and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies.
- Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and services.
- Gain knowledge of the AAA Northeast membership and its benefits to be able to offer and sell to clients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of sales or customer service experience required; insurance sales experience preferred.
- Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred.
- Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 days required; Life License preferred.

Pay
Competitive base pay with annual bonus opportunities, and for certain roles, additional monthly and/or quarterly incentive compensation. The posted salary range represents the full range grade for this role, with individual pay based on job-related skills, experience, shift, and geographic location.
