Inside Sales Enrollment Coordinator, Intermediate (Plan Based Enroller)

About the role

The Blue Shield of California IFP Direct Sales Team assists clients with plan selection and enrollment for medical, dental, and vision products. The Inside Sales Enrollment Coordinator, Intermediate (Plan Based Enroller) position supports the sales team by providing phone-based sales support, ensuring applications are complete, and managing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Sales team by providing phone-based sales support services such as telephonic enrollments, sales incentives, administrative sales support, and outbound Evershield retention efforts.
• Ensure applications are complete and accurate before staging into appropriate systems.
• Onboard new members to establish relationships with Blue Shield of California.
• Show strong computer aptitude and working knowledge of systems and business processes.
• Provide other administrative support as required to accommodate new business needs.
• Work under limited supervision and follow direction from management and senior level team members.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Prior Plan Based Enroller experience with enrolling applicants on CalHeers with Covered California.

Requirements

• Basic job knowledge of systems and procedures.
• Strong computer aptitude.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.

Pay

Pay Range for California: $23.91 to $33.47

Pay Range for Bay Area: $26.95 to $37.73
