About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who is passionate about people and sales. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to provide high-quality building products to customers and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to ensure the highest quality building products are provided to customers.
  • Strive to deliver excellent customer service and accurately process various types of customer orders and sales.
  • Meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Create long-lasting relationships with buyers through effective sales strategies.
  • Price quote and communicate with customers effectively.
  • Handle cash and credit functions responsibly.
  • Operate a PC and related software.
  • Multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales.
  • Market awareness, job selling, initiative, and job quotes.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Quickly learn and retain knowledge and awareness of new products, specialty products, and systems.
  • Provide support, product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager as needed.
  • Reflect a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors.
  • Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies.
  • Experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions.
  • Ability to operate a PC and related software.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
