Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Qualifying Leads: Evaluate and qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and timeline focusing on consumables and selected systems opportunities. Use effective questioning techniques to understand customer requirements.
  • Sales Execution: Conduct virtual product presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Closing Sales: Negotiate and close deals with prospects for consumables and selected system opportunities. Follow up with potential customers to address any concerns and finalize agreements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and update CRM software (SFDC) with accurate customer information and sales activities. Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the field sales, marketing, and technical support teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns. Provide feedback and insights to improve marketing efforts.
  • Reporting: Generate sales reports and present them to the management team. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in inside sales or a similar role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • You are tech savvy and have advanced working knowledge of key prospecting tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • Proficient in CRM software (SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $69,000-$97,750. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
