Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by engaging with interested prospective customers all while working remote. No cold calling—Connect through inbound calls and proactive outbound calls with active insurance shoppers.

  • Sell reputable products from Allstate and our family of brands.
  • Provide exceptional service to our policyholders by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately.
  • Interact with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration, communicating through voice calls, email, and text messages.
  • Focus specifically on water losses, ensuring customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these claims.
  • Lead with empathy, always, as a Customer Service Expert.
  • Confidently and independently investigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
  • Use phone, emails, and sometimes video chat with customers to help them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process. Incorporate a specific approach to claim handling to offer the customer their preference of communication and keep them updated on the claim progress.
  • Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, adhering to all legal and business standards. Handle challenging and complex situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Utilize multiple tools to execute policies and settle claims efficiently, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms, while applying sharp critical thinking skills.
  • Protect the company financially by executing policies and maintaining accurate records in a claims system, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in an office and virtual work environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions.
  • Previous industry experience is highly desired.

Pay

Base compensation offered for this role is $50,000-$86,400 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

During Training: In Office
Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
After Training: Hybrid (In Office & Remote)
Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with rotational Saturday duty
Mondays and Fridays (remote)
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (in-office)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience.

Notice of Licensing Requirement

As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire. The Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.

Sign-on Bonus

You may be eligible for a $1000 Licensing Sign on Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role. This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.
